2010 Already? Good Riddance 2009!

WOW 2009 sure came and went. With the blink of an eye, POOF and it was done and gone. So here I sit, wondering what 2010 will have in store for me. 2009 surely wasn't anything to write home about. It was actually a pretty boring year. I would have to say the highlight of it was our FIRST ever family vacation to the beach. One that didn't entail the "death trip" as I call it. Where you leave early as hell in the morning and return somewhat late at night. Grimy from sand, saltwater and sun. Oh and let's not forget the "skeeter bites". Surely that isn't my idea of FUN! especially with four kids in tow!.

We went to Sanibel Island, FL, which was the furthest we have ever ventured from our home on wheels, well in any travel fashion for that matter. It took us 10 hours to get there, the trip going down wasn't so bad, as the four hellions, I mean precious angels pretty much slept the entire trip down. Long story short, we speant 6 glorious days on a gorgeous gulf beach! Which reaffirms my decision of never wanting to go to any beach unless it's on gulf shores.

So with 2010 already quickly advancing. It's been almost a full week since New Years! I am hoping and planning on doing a lot of things different. No, I didn't make any New Year's resolutions, especially since I know I can't keep a resolution. I am just going to make a more conscientious effort on making some much needed changes. And yes, I can not wait till July, when we venture back to Sanibel Island for what will definitely be our annual family vacationing spot! Stay tuned! Oh and HAPPY NEW YEAR ya'll!! :o)
